Website Reference Group

As part of the Ako Aotearoa website strategy, we have now formed a website Reference Group. This group, which includes experienced teachers, staff developers and e-learners specialists in the tertiary sector, will provide us with valuable independent advice and guidance on the future development of the site; including content, structure, and functionality.

The Reference Group is:

• Dr Irina Elgort, UTDC, Victoria University of Wellington
• Dr Joce Jesson – University of Auckland and Ako Aotearoa Board
• Dr Mark Laws - Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi
• Mark Nichols – Laidlaw College
• Ngahiwi Apanui – Ako Aotearoa Kaihautū Māori/ Māori Development Manager
• Bridget O’Regan – Co-ordinator Southern Hub, Ako Aotearoa
• Jill Tanner-Lloyd - Ako Aotearoa Communications Coordinator

In its first meeting this week the group made a positive start with a range of suggestions that will assist our future improvements for the site.
