Improving Student Engagement in Post-School Settings: an Annotated Bibliography
All 90 items in this bibliography are annotated using a standard template that includes an abstract, the type of research, key themes, country of origin, research methodology, scale of project, and evaluative comments.
The project identified four primary content strands -
- student motivation and dispositions to engage with learning;
- engagement facilitated by transactions between students, teaching and support structures within institutions;
- work investigating effects of institutional support on engagement;
- engagement that was influenced by social and demographic changes.
