This conference will focus on the practice of self assessment as a methodology for developing quality in all aspects of the provision of tertiary training and education.
A conference of practitioners, sharing practice to improve practice; and to that end it will be structured around interactive workshop sessions.

The conference is relevant to all aspects of the tertiary education sector but is targeted at all those who have a responsibility for managing, supporting or implementing processes for quality. This includes:
- academic managers
- staff developers
- heads of departments/schools
- institutional research officers
- deans.
There is also intended to be a strand for governance.
