Collecting evidence of Learner Benefit

Jennifer Leahy at the Whangarei workshop

Last week two workshops were held in Auckland and Whangarei to extend the reach of a project funded by Ako Aotearoa which produced the resource A Tertiary Practitioner’s Guide to Collecting Evidence of Learner Benefit, prepared by Anne Alkema. Together with ACE Aotearoa, the Northern Hub administered the workshops to assist people to use the ideas in the booklet to collect evidence that allows us to inform and adapt teaching practices to improve outcomes for learners.

The two presenters, Jennifer Leahy and Tai Samaeli, ably led the participants at both workshops through a series of activities to open up the booklet for use. A further northern region workshop will be offered in Whakatane on 27 October.  Contact Kirsten White on (09) 921 9750 for information about this workshop.
