What’s happening in the hub?
The northern hub office has got off to a busy start. Of particular note are the number of project ideas already coming through which have the potential to impact on educational outcomes for learners in the tertiary sector. Two new projects have been approved so far this year!!
A successful project proposal will need to demonstrate a clear benefit to the learner as well as broad applicability to the tertiary sector. We are looking for projects that are good value for money.
As well, we continue to meet with teachers and tutors interested in entering a portfolio for the Tertiary Teaching Excellence Awards 2010. To celebrate excellence in teaching is a significant aspect of Ako Aotearoa’s strategy as well as to promulgate the debate about the importance of teaching in the tertiary sector.
