Global Intercultural Collaboration - Future Challenges and Opportunities

The workshop, which explored new directions in global collaborations between cultures, was held at AUT University 04th - 05th February 2010.

Participants were exposed to a diverse set of issues traversing many borders of culture, discipline and location.  One central aspect of the workshop was the sustained focus on students and their learning, illuminated through different projects and different topics/subject areas.

The time proved to be richly informing of practice across the interdisciplinary and cross cultural community who took part.  It provided a wealth of ideas and tools for those who are wrestling with new challenges arising from an increasingly diverse student body, and devising strategies for developing tomorrow's gloabl professionals through innovative models for gloabal intercultural collaboration.
