Measuring Open Education

In this recently approved southern hub project Leigh Blackall of Otago Polytechnic and his team will analyse data from trial open education courses with a view to putting forward a model that will be applicable to other tertiary organisations in New Zealand. Proposed outputs from the project include an online and print on demand user guide together with a video that introduces the user guide and summarises the project. In addition Leigh will present progress on the project at the International Conference for Open Education, Vancouver, in August.
