By creating this fictional company learners gain ‘real world’ experience of web writing. Learners act as the employee and the tutor acts as the employer. Wonderwebbers includes discussion forums, quizzes, video, chats, online reading resources, and role-play to give the students an interactive experience that models real-life workplace experiences. Learners find this a flexible and interesting way to develop their web writing skills and the practice has been shown to enhance the quality of web writing.
