Tuia Te Ako brings together the Māori tertiary education whānau from all parts of the sector to share in discussion and debate of a range of issues that impact on the success of Māori tertiary learners.

Tuia Te Ako will provide wānanga (forums) to discuss key issues, research findings, exciting new initiatives and the latest developments from across the tertiary sector.
The Hui workshops and presentations are designed to showcase the innovative responses from Māori in tertiary education to the challenges we face and to give delegates the opportunity to debate issues and exchange ideas.

Workshop Facilitators
We also welcome Te Kowhai Ohia, Matiu Ratima, Pene Delaney and Jacqueline Poutu. They will run the workshops scheduled to follow each panel session. These workshops are designed to draw out the discussion and debate with all hui delegates, giving everyone a chance to have their voice heard, and capture their valuable feedback.
