m-Learning

Welcome to the New Zealand m-learning website. This site is to act as an online resource site and forum in which you can find up-to-date information on all matters relating to m-learning both within New Zealand and overseas.

The m-learning site is the essential guide to all aspects of mobile learning, mobile delivery, technology updates and innovations, forthcoming events, problems and challenges pertaining to the state of mobile implementation and usage across New Zealand. The site is sufficient inclusive to accommodate discussions around flexible learning, distance learning, pedagogical debates, benchmarking for successful planning and implementation, national strategies, telecommunication issues and covers such topics as standards and guidelines, best practice, case studies, media items, links to relevant discussion so it is a must for academics, students, researchers, information professionals and policy makers. It is not intended this site be used for marketing, advertising or otherwise attempting to promote the sale of products. The site does not endorse any marketing or products whatsoever.

So let's create a community to promote all aspects of mobile learning and delivery. If you don't yet know everything there is to know about m-learning, then this is the pre-eminent site for you.

3rd International M-Libraries Conference

A reminder to put this event on your calendar. For the first time ever, the international m-libraries conference comes down under to explore what the Antipodes is doing with m-learning and libraries. So don't miss this opportunity to become involved and to learn and network. Those of you who heard Professor Mohamed Ally during his tour of New Zealand early last year, will remember some of the tips he recommended for ensuring m-learning could be integrated into your organisations successfully. An issue for New Zealand organisations right across the board was definitely the cost of telecommunication charges - and not much has changed on that front since his tour last year.
