Otago Academy welcomes new Members
The Ako Aotearoa Southern hub recently hosted the Otago based members of the Academy.
On a stunning Dunedin day Bridget O'Regan from the Southern hub welcomed members of the Academy to a luncheon at the University of Otago. 2009 Prime Minister's Award winner, Selene Mize and Sustained Excellence winner Judy Magee were welcomed to the group.
The format of the 2009 Symposium was discussed and the group were looking forward to another successsful event.
The group looked at ways that the Academy and the hub could work together and agreed to start planning an Academy project in the region.
