Introduction

Learning supports are the interactions and feedback mechanisms that help learners complete their learning activities. The teacher has a key support role, and learning support can also include peers and workplace colleagues, as well as activities and resources that scaffold learning.
The learning designer needs to consider learning support as the ‘glue' which holds together the learning activities and learning resources into a cohesive whole for the learner.
