Shar-e-Fest 2011 - next instalment
Hi All,
This is the first call for submissions for Shar-E-Fest (Flyer available: http://sharefest.crowdvine.com/attachments/0001/6533/Shar-E-Fest.pdf)
The programme is based around 5 x 100 minute practical workshops (a 30 seat computer lab is available) and 30 x 30 minute presentations (can include demonstrations/ symposiums/ round-tables / group work) 35 scheduled sessions and with a space for posters.
To make a submission
1. Go to http://etc.elearning.ac.nz/course/view.php?id=78&page=61 to review presentation guidelines..
2. Go to http://etc.elearning.ac.nz/course/view.php?id=78 and use form to submit abstract (NB: you will be prompted to create a new account)
3. If you had an account from last year’s Shar-E-Fest the details will be the same.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by two members of the organising committee using a concept of "rolling acceptance". What does this mean?
a) When an author submits a presentation the peer review panel member receives an e-mail notification and can immediately begin the review process.
b) If necessary peer reviewers can make “suggestions/comments” to the authors of a submission.
c) Authors can be notified quickly of the status of their proposal.
All presenters attending the conference must register and pay the registration fee ($175 + GST).
