Membership now automatic
I have found the setting for moderated/automatic membership, and set it to "auto", so my OK is no longer required. (Whew!) If you already have a user account on the Ako Aotearoa site you can add yourself right away. New memberships should be immediately approved from now on. (Wed 22/4/09)
News from Canterbury
Most of you know Bill Rosenberg, the Deputy Director of UCTL and team coordinator of our Flexible Learning Group - he is leaving us at the end of April, to pursue his love of economic research and policy as Policy Director of the CTU. Bill has been the leader of our LMS Review and the Moodle transition project, and his vast institutional knowledge and calm competence will be sorely missed.
In the next few months, I will be relieving as the FLG team coordinator, so I'll be stepping back from active Moodling while I pretend to understand budgets and enjoy meetings.
