Teaching large classes of 400 students at a time can be an unnerving prospect for many lecturers, but not for Stephen Hickson. Through a mixture of activities and video resources, both inside the lecture and beyond, he creates a learning environment which allows students to connect with Economics in a variety of ways.

"I don’t think I’m actually doing anything particularly swish inside the classroom. Most of it is really just a concerted effort on my part to find ways to connect the content with where the students are"
