This Summary of Good Practices publication has been prepared as a part of the ITO Literacy and Numeracy Good Practice project. This project, funded by the Tertiary Education Commission, aims to research, inform and develop good practice guidelines, tools and resources to support ITOs to embed literacy and numeracy into industry training.

The Summary of Good Practices publication is part of a series of good practice resources covering the range of activities that ITOs engage in as they respond to literacy and numeracy issues within their industries. The Summary of Good Practices publication evolved from the final report of the Good Practice project, and is organised into the same four categories used in the Industry Training Federation’s High Performance in ITOs self evaluation tool.
