This research project was commissioned by the Joinery Industry Training Organisation (JITO) to understand learning on and off the job, the connections between them, and where learning support (specifically with literacy, language and numeracy) can be provided.

The centre provides discipline based support for learning and teaching in the built environment subject communities of Architecture, Landscape, Urban Planning, Housing and Transport, Construction and Real Estate. Activity/ecouragement areas include: Teaching effectiveness, educational practices, innovative teaching, staff development and discipline based research.

IDEA - Interior Design/Interior Architecture Educators Association

IDEA comprises of universities throughout Australia and New Zealand. The website aims at being the central source of information on the various universities that offer courses in Interior Design and Interior Architecture, access to and publication of the IDEA Journal, a source of upcoming conferences and events, and a link to other related organisations and publications.
