  • November 13 2009: Literacy Alliance meeting
  • December 17 2009: Literacy Alliance meeting
  • February 18 2010: Literacy Alliance meeting.
  • April 13 2010: Literacy Alliance members met with Hon Minister Joyce (Link to the Briefing Paper)
  • April 27 2010: Literacy Alliance meeting.
  • May 7 2010: Literacy Alliance members meet with Roy Sharp, CEO Tertiary Education Commission (Link to the Briefing Paper)
  • June 9 2010: Literacy Alliance meeting. Hosted Jana Scomazzon, workplace literacy expert from Australia.
  • June 10 2010: Carrie Murdoch, Carla White, Claire Szabo, Cushla Wilson and Bronwyn Yates were part of a panel session at the NZ Workforce Literacy and Numeracy Forum. The session was chaired by Jeremy Baker and the theme was “What are the elements of sustainable solutions in LLN delivery?” A communication about the Literacy Alliance was handed out to Forum participants.   • July 7 2010: Second meeting with the TEC, including Roy Sharp, CEO, David Nicholson, Frances Blythe, Pauline Barnes and Jill Heinrich.
  • August 3 2010: Literacy Alliance meeting.
  • August 4 2010: Third meeting with the TEC.
  • September 8 2010: Parliamentary breakfast on World Literacy Day – attended by Sir Wira Gardener (TEC Chair) and Allan Peachey, MP for Tamaki. Sir Wira’s speech is attached.
  • September 10 2010: Dr Nicky Murray presented about the Literacy Alliance at the ACAL (Australian Council for Adult Literacy) Conference in Darwin.
  • October 20 2010: Literacy Alliance meeting and meeting with Ministry of Education, Tertiary Policy Team
  • December 16 2010: Final Literacy Alliance meeting for 2010.
