About the report
This report analyses quantitative data on young Māori and Pasifika women aged between 16 and 24 who were transitioning from secondary education to tertiary education or employment. The data gathered included:
- school leaving age
- types of tertiary education entered
- rates of completion, and
- types of employment entered into.
This report was commissioned by Mana Wahine Mana Mahi (National Advisory Council on the Employment of Women) in 2008 and completed in 2009.
