The Impact of Student Evaluations on Teaching Behaviour

Project Description

This project examines the extent to which teaching practices are currently informed by learner feedback in New Zealand. Data will be gathered from teaching staff at three New Zealand organisations by way of questionnaire and interviews to elicit teachers’ perspectives of and responses to learner evaluations. From these data recommendations will be made in relation to institutional practices, reporting mechanisms, and tertiary teacher professional development that focus on evaluation processes, to optimise learning outcomes for all students.
