Accuracy and confidence of objective structured clinical examination pass-fail decisions

This study explored the factors underlying decision-making when there is a need to aggregate assessment results using the OCSE (objective structured clinical examinations) format. The goals and objectives were to study how increasing the amount of data on student performance effects decision-making, and confidence in these decisions made by examination boards.
Developing Pedagogy for Exercise Science in Tertiary Physical Education programmes in the Aotearoa New Zealand Context

This project investigated exercise science curriculum content for physical education/teacher education (PETE) students and develops practical recommendations to assist tertiary organisations and their staff in the development of pedagogies suitable for the enhancement of learning in the exercise sciences.

Learners’ Needs and Practice-Based Learning Informing Tertiary Teaching

The purpose of this project was to gather information to assist educators to actively connect teaching with workplace learning. The parameters of the project were confined to learners’ needs regarding child and youth health as that is a priority, high impact field of learning for practice nurses.
