Research Objectives
To look at how pathways through tertiary study followed by New Zealanders differ depending on what the student was doing before starting study.
Methodology
Analysis of the pathways taken by a cohort of 54,000 domestic students who first studied in 1998 at tertiary education organisations and following their interactions with the tertiary sector in the seven years until the end of 2004. Includes a comparison of the pathways followed by 6 particular groups of students.
