e-Learning Framework for Formative Assessment ("innovations in assignment marking")
This project sought to improve tertiary lecturers' use of e-learning tools to improve their assignment practice.
A comprehensive literature review was carried out, along with interviews with 90 lecturers. The key step was for lecturers to be able to utilise electronic submission via an LMS, opening the path for efficiency and quality gains. Following this a framework for formative assessment supported by e-learning tools was developed.
