Dr. Chris Holland
About the publication
This paper describes a professional development programme and mentoring project. The project focused on Māori and Pasifika learners and mentors. The mentors were drawn from the local communities in which the apprentices lived.
The paper discusses how the mentors were professionally developed and provided with ongoing support to work effectively with their apprentices and how apprentice learning on and off-site was supported and improved.
