New version of SBLi available. Builder freely downloadable.
We've been using SBLi successfully here at Massey a few years and now have it part-integrated into our Moodle system.
Just letting the group know that the University of Queensland now has a second version of SBLi. The Builder is free of charge for non-commercial educational use. It supports both 64 and 32-bit versions of Windows, and provides more flexibility in prerequisite functionality and includes a "fill-in-the-blanks" question type. Find out more about it here:
You can register and download it here:
Regarding the Server (Player) side of the software, the new more user-friendly and secure edition has been completely rewritten from the ground up and is also free for no-commercial education use. Details are available on the www.sblinteractive.org website along with Server license arrangements.
Our educational technology team will be looking at this new version in the next few months. Hopefully we can fully integrate it into our Moodle 2 release in 2013.
