This project seeks to identify the pedagogical success factors that make a difference for Pacific learners, and to then support and mentor colleagues to test the identified pedagogical approaches into their own programmes.
This project will track the success of engineering students who attended a flipped classroom in their first year of study and compare their progress to individuals who undertook an equivalent class in a traditional setting.
Supervisors and learners from six New Zealand universities across the disciplines of applied linguistics, marketing, and maths/statistics contributed to an investigation of ‘good practice’ in the types of feedback supervisors offer postgraduate thesis students.
