The Resource Centre contains practical material about good teaching and learning in the tertiary sector. The Resources can come from the Communities and Project Groups on the site. The Resources are high-quality, well-presented, evidence-based, and relevant to New Zealand.

The Centre provides UK-wide support and services for higher education in Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies. It works to foster world-class education in its subject areas by supporting stakeholders and helping them to provide the best possible learning experience for students. It also offers academic leadership in promoting good practice and identifying emerging issues.
The Centre supports teaching and learning in history, archaeology, and classical studies. The centre promotes high quality learning and teaching by providing subject-based support for sharing innovations and good practices.
To support and promote the educational experience of students studying in Philosophical and Religious Studies (PRS). At the same time it will promote the value of PRS approaches and knowledge to a wider audience, emphasising the relevance of PRS disciplines - and their approaches - to policy, educational research, and learning and teaching practice.
The English Subject Centre has a national role supporting those teaching English (as Literature, Language or Creative Writing) in higher education. As part of the English subject community, the Centre help its members to share ideas and good practice through events, networks and publications.
