Defining a New Model and Developing a User Guide for Open Education
This project analyses data from open education practices trials from three courses in a teacher training programme, and proposes a model for application in other areas. Project outcomes include a data analysis of the trial courses, presentation of a scalable model, and a users guide for other educational providers. Regular notes will be published to document the project in real time and all outputs carry a Creative Commons Attribution license.
The project will analyse data from initial Otago Polytechnic trials in open education and determine where opportunities for improved practices exist. From this analysis, a model or series of models will be explained in a user guide targeting subject areas that are considered good candidates across the sector for further trailing of the models.
