Involving the Stakeholders in the Curriculum Process: A Recipe for Success?
This project evaluated a curriculum redesign process undertaken at the Department of Nursing and Health Studies at the Manukau Institute of Technology. This process involved consultation and involvement from stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
Data were collected through seven individual interviews and one focus group interviews. Their responses were grouped into seven categories: “existing programme”, “the need to change”, “the curriculum development process”, “the stakeholders”, “personnel”, and “ethnic minorities”.
