From Paste-Up to Power-Up: Supporting Students to Design a Research Poster
This project trialled a poster design seminar as a learning intervention for a second-year undergraduate ecology class.
The project was trialled with 75 second-year ecology students. The assignment involved the students working in small groups to develop the posters, which they subsequently presented to the class. They were asked to provide peer evaluations of the posters produced by other members of the class. A questionnaire was subsequently used to evaluate this assignment from the perspective of the students.
