Skills, Qualifications, Experience and the Distribution of Wages
This study investigates the links between skills and qualifications, and distribution of hourly wage rates. As such, it assesses the breadth of distribution for those with higher skills and qualifications, and examines other contributing factors such as experience, age, gender, and first language.
Analysis of data from the 2006 Adult Literacy and Life Skills survey. The New Zealand cohort surveyed was constituted by 7,131 New Zealanders aged between 15 and 65.
