Student Retention and Completion Factors of Mature Māori Students ; a Study of the Post Graduate Diploma of Business (Māori Development) = Te Tohu Huanga Māori
This research uses the University of Auckland's Postgraduate Diploma of Business (Māori Development) Te Tohu Huanga Māori as a context for exploring the factors and behaviours impacting on retention and completion for postgraduate Māori students.
Mixed methods approach. Quantitative data on student demographics was obtained by way of a postal survey. Interviews and subsequent focus groups were conducted to ascertain students' perceptions of programme strengths and weaknesses.
