Towards Community Based Learner Support
This project examined how a learning support community was used to support the learning of both internal and external students, in the context of a Bachelor of Education majoring in Teaching. This community adopted an online community structure, and was used to scaffold learning through blended modes.
Case study methodology was adopted to explore the impact of this learning support community structure on a group of learners studying teaching at one New Zealand university. The strategies used to develop the project are described, and the project is evaluated here by the researcher.
