The Unruly Classroom
This research used the context of a graduate course entitled 'Creative Theory' taught as part of the Screen and Media Studies programme at one New Zealand university to explore different conceptions of theorising encounters with the media, and how these encounters might be delivered.
The project draws on case studies from the Creative Theory classroom, including analysis of student work, in order to better understand conceptualisations of the media in a twenty-first century context, as it applies to teaching and learning.
