This project investigates the effectiveness of an informal voluntary mentoring programme provided for trainees in the Primary ITO.
It offers a number of practical recommendations to tertiary education providers in relation to providing good mentoring practices.
The key recommendations contained in this report will be of interest to those engaged in high-stakes summative assessment that is, marking student work when this counts towards the award of a degree or other qualification.
