The Resource Centre contains practical material about good teaching and learning in the tertiary sector. The Resources can come from the Communities and Project Groups on the site. The Resources are high-quality, well-presented, evidence-based, and relevant to New Zealand.
Distance and Flexible Learning includes flexible learning and support, blended learning, and technology-assisted learning such as e-learning and m-learning.
In this resource you can explore the opportunities and challenges that you might discover with social e-learning in practice, and get practical guidance and tips from e-learning practitioners. Includes Case Studies, Strategies, Tools, and Activities.
The Network supports teaching and learning within Mathematics, Statistics & Operational Research, and other disciplines where components of these subjects are taught. It works with individual academics, departments, professional bodies, employers and students to develop and share excellent practice that will enhance the learning experience.
The Centre provides UK-wide support and services for higher education in Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies. It works to foster world-class education in its subject areas by supporting stakeholders and helping them to provide the best possible learning experience for students. It also offers academic leadership in promoting good practice and identifying emerging issues.
The Network's subject areas also include recreation, events, management and sports science. Resources and activities are provided that work to enhance the learning experiences and opportunities of students and share practice and ideas to make the processes of learning, teaching and assessment within the subject areas more effective.
The Centre works with Departments and individuals who supports tudent learning in both academic and practice contexts in our subject areas. It is closely associated with the Subject Centre Network for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine through the  HEALTH Network Group (Higher Education Academy Learning & Teaching in Health).
