Over 90 people registered to attend an education symposium that preceded the 2009 COMBIO Conference held in Christchurch this week. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the varied range of topics from an interesting group of presenters.
Last week the Southern Hub hosted Ngahiwi Apanui, Ako Aotearoa's Kaihautū Māori - Senior Māori Development Manager, for two days. It was a pleasure to accompany Ngahiwi as he visited key Māori leaders and educators in Christchurch to discusswith them areas of interest and concern for Māori.
