Effective web-based Open Education Practices
Half-day workshop | $165 + gst
About the workshop
In the session, Bronwyn takes participants through good, bad and ugly scenario challenges that will stimulate discussion about the benefits and barriers for teachers, learners and managers when open education resources and practices are used. Participants will have the opportunity to explore and critique pedagogical and technological solutions for use in open education approaches, as well as identify simple solutions that they can implement in their work context.
Bronwyn, who has been engaged in open education practices since 2006, has developed this workshop based on her teaching practice experiences and an Ako Aotearoa Southern Hub-funded project in which she was involved with Leigh Blackall: Open Education Practices: A user guide for organisations.
These workshops are part of Ako Aotearoa’s Professional Development Programme – an initiative to bring high quality, evidence-based and affordable professional development to educators and managers across New Zealand’s diverse tertiary education sector.
