Maximising Learning Dialogue Opportunities in Professional Field Based Experiences
This project seeks to identify effective strategic interventions in the context of field-based programmes. It will develop and test interventions in a broad range of professional and vocational field-based learning environments. It seeks to identify instances of enriched learning dialogue between supervisor and student which can optimise the efficacy of field-based learning opportunities.
This project will use qualitative techniques to gather evidence given by students enrolled in courses with a field-based study component. The experiences of relevant supervisors who will be asked to describe their experiences of field study and of strategic interventions will also be examined.
