A Small Drop of Ink, Falling Like Dew: An Investigation into the Process of Interpreting the Written Word into an Illustration
This thesis aimed to investigate the process of interpreting the written word into a visual image. This project sought to provide advice to illustration students at improving their skills in this discipline of text adaptation.
This project adopted an action-research methodology, and involved the development of two learning strategies piloted by three groups of learners in the visual arts curriculum area.
