The centre provides discipline based support for learning and teaching in the built environment subject communities of Architecture, Landscape, Urban Planning, Housing and Transport, Construction and Real Estate. Activity/ecouragement areas include: Teaching effectiveness, educational practices, innovative teaching, staff development and discipline based research.
The Centre supports a large network of learning and teaching practitioners involved in HE bioscience throughout the UK. It provides funding, events, resources and a large number of opportunities to network with bioscience learning and teaching practitioners from a variety of institutions and roles.
TLRP provides coordination for 700 researchers in some 70 project teams and almost 20 initiatives of cross-programme thematic analysis across the UK. TLRP represents a major opportunity for UK educational research in contributing new knowledge for the improvement of learning and the availability and quality of future educational research.
ESCalate produces and disseminates resources for staff and students in Higher Education and Further Education involved in Education Studies, Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning and Initial Teacher Education.
This literature review provides an overview of Kaupapa Māori principles and practices, which form the basis for Māori educational pedagogy. Furthermore it includes some examples of key notions in Kaupapa Māori service provision.
