Educational Outcomes includes qualification attainment, soft skills, social benefits to tertiary education, societal engagement, citizenship, and productivity. Also includes employer perceptions of graduates and graduate destinations.
This tailor-made seminar/workshop is for individual organisations who have participated in recent rounds of the AUSSE. It is designed to assist councils, management and staff of tertiary education organisations both in interpreting and using their own data and planning future surveys using the AUSSE.
My name is Mike Scott and I teach electrical students at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology. I first became aware of some of the practices of the carpentry team when I was invited to attend their hāngi one year.
This research gave a wellbeing improvement programme to first-year students studying by distance at the Open Polytechnic. It then measured how that project affected the academic success of those students and discusses the results.
